Ultrasound Service Delivery: Problems & Solutions

This study day aims to review and debate some current and proposed policies and procedures relating to the delivery of ultrasound services. These will include changes to the NHS proposed by the coalition government that will affect ultrasound departments and also recent NICE guidance on ovarian carcinoma and the stroke pathway. There will be an emphasis on trying to find solutions for some of the problems that ultrasound practitioners and managers encounter on a daily basis and a chance to discuss some of the issues in-depth with colleagues.

The Technique makes the individual aware of the way the body and mind are ‘used’ in all activities and specifically of tensions building up when stressed or working under pressure. With the help of the Technique these bad postural habits can be identified.
